Refund policy

Returns

You may return or exchange items to our GERI premises at one of the below addresses:

This can be done through courier at your own expense or have us collect the item at a handling fee. The item will undergo quality control inspection and, once approved, an online exchange coupon will be provided for you to use on our online store or in-store for purchases.

Items excluded from returns, rendering them in a unsellable condition are:

  1. Altered garments
  2. Worn garments

Furthermore for hygienic reasons we will not accept:

  1. Underwear
  2. Swimwear
  3. Socks

Returns and exchanges are available for a 21 day period only after, you the customer have received the goods

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Labels, tags, protective covers must be included.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within x working days, excluding delivery costs.

  • Please note courier charges do apply on all refunds
  • Standard period for returns is within 21 days of having received the item and confirming that the item meets the returns criteria

We may withhold the refund if the garments returned do not meet the quality control standard or you do not allow for the collection of the products under these Terms and Conditions within the outlined 7-21 day policy.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sandton@geri.co.za or give us a call at 087 813 0495.

Sale/promotional items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale and promotional  items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges are offered to the value of the sale purchased item.

Please note we do not offer in store credit for items on promotion or sale.

A copy and print out of the online sales order invoice must be accompanied with the garment on return to the store.

The terms outlined for exchanges still apply for store exchanges.

Only exchanges will be facilitated through the Geri Boutique store location– no refunds

Exchanges

Geri Boutique operates an exchange policy for our customers in respect of items delivered. The conditions of this exchange policy are set out in the clause below:

Exchanges and returns are subject to Geri Boutique's own discretion.

  • Items you wish to exchange must be in a sellable condition
  • Must be in original packaging
  • All related accessories, labels, protective covers and boxes must be included
  • The original invoice or proof of payment must be returned with the product.

We will not accept products for exchange or refunds that are returned incomplete, damaged or without the original packaging, labels, protective covers and boxes. Please ensure you take reasonable care with the products you wish to exchange or return.

Gifts

Please note If the item was marked as a gift then strictly no refunds will be offered on the item purchased. Exchanges are permitted to the value of purchase with the proviso that all exchange criteria is met under our exchange policy.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
